LAM’ON is a manufacturer of biodegradable laminating film for paper and board, as well as packaging film.
Both products are also compostable and aim to eliminate harmful plastic pollution in our environment.
Every year we waste thousands of tonnes of paper laminated with conventional, petroleum-based films, given the lack of adequate technology to recycle it.
The problem is compounded by the microparticles that remain after the paper ends up in landfill.
It is not much different with packaging. Much of the thin film is not recycled because it clogs up the machines, and so it is either incinerated or palletised in landfill.
LAM’ON is serious about changing the industry for the better by offering competitive, environmentally friendly solutions to the wider market.
The company is based in Sofia and strives to set a good example with best practices in its production cycle.
